Fachhochschule des Mittelstands (FHM) (Germany)

The Fachhochschule des Mittelstands (FHM) is a private state-approved University of Applied Sciences counting around 5 thousand students. Founded in Bielefeld in 2000 by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the FHM is nowadays one of the most successful private universities in Germany with 8 further campus across Germany. The unique feature of the FHM is a strong focus on the needs of German SMEs. We create and offer tailor-made educational services and research activities to boost SME’ innovation potentials and entrepreneurial spirit making them think outside the box!

Creative Thinking Development (CHETHIDEV) (Greece)

Creative Thinking Development (CRETHIDEV), is a nonprofit company which focuses on research, as well as development of studies and action plans mainly in the fields of life-long learning, environmental protection, innovation, employment, local development, health, sports and culture. Through the exchange of knowledge and expertise, research and training collaborative projects and cooperation with universities, companies, public authorities, and training centers, we seek to create a knowledge repository and facilitate the networking and cooperation efforts among authorities, organizations, business associations, on a local, regional, national, European, and international level.

Development Solutions (DeSo) (North Macedonia)

Development Solutions (DeSo) is a dynamic organization based in Skopje, Macedonia which provides a range of services to clients and beneficiaries across Southeast Europe and beyond. DeSo was founded in 2008 and at present it employees 3 full-time staff and a number of external associates (trainers, researchers), and interns.
DeSo services include project development and technical assistance related to EU and other donor funding programs, training, evaluation and measurement, and socio-economic research. 
DeSo offers many of its services on an open market, serving clients throughout Southeast Europe, the European Union, Eastern Partnership (EaP), but it also bids for international grants and tenders and implements socio-economic development projects. 
DeSo institutional clients and beneficiaries are local and national authorities (municipalities, regions, agencies and ministries), universities & research institutes, NGOs, and other public and private organizations.

Institute for Technology Transfer and Innovations (ITTI) (Bulgaria)

The Institute for Technology Transfer and Innovations (ITTI) is a HUB working towards the creation and the development of a national innovation infrastructure, the spreading of new knowledge, the stimulation of technological entrepreneurship, the transfer of knowledge and technologies and the market application of innovative products. The activities of the Institute serve as a mechanism for the development and financing of research, development and application of innovations. Critical focus in the work of the Institute is the development of cooperation between the business and the scientific community. The Institute for Technology Transfer and Innovations (ITTI) has been established in December, 2013 in the city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria. ITTI is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, registered according to the Law for Judicial Entities with Non-profit Purposes.

Virtual Campus LDA (Portugal)

Virtual Campus is a development, training and consulting SME in the area of Technology Enhanced Learning. Its vision is to actively promote the development of the Knowledge Society by supporting public and private entities in the process of designing and developing learning strategies and projects that lead to increased societal benefits. Virtual Campus has successfully produced e-learning contents, online courses (MOOCs) and serious games for different platforms (desktops, mobile, tablet), in different environments (online, standalone) for different purposes (vocational training, emergency services, higher education, secondary education) and in different scopes (European projects, client contracts).

VC staff involved in the projects is:
Carlos Vaz de Carvalho, PhD in Information Systems and Technologies by the School of Engineering of the University of Minho in Portugal. He has a large experience in the fields of Informatics, Multimedia and e-learning. He directed the GILT R&D group and was e-learning Director at the Porto Institute of Engineering. He is now Director of Virtual Campus, responsible for the training and development areas. He has published more than 200 articles and 10 books on the subject, has coordinated more than 15 European projects in this area and participated in over 40 European projects.

Marlene Faria holds a B.A. in Languages and International Relations, by the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto and an MSc in History, International Relations and Cooperation (Specialisation in Political Studies) by the same University. At present works as Project Manager Assistant at Virtual Campus Lda. Main tasks performed are management of European projects and connected activities, such as research, dissemination and stakeholders’ engagement activities.

Trainings Online (Germany)

Trainigns-Online is an owner-operated company with eight employees that was founded in 1999. The origins of the Bielefeld-based company go back to the project "Introduction Web in University Teaching" of the renowned Bertelsmann Foundation. Trainings-Online's main product is the fully web-based campus management system TraiNex. This software enables universities to manage their processes holistically, taking into account the needs of all stakeholders, from university management to teachers and students. In its long history, TraiNex has been continuously improved and new functionalities have been added. In addition to software development, the main focus of the work of Trainings-Online is also the testing of new technical possibilities and advising customers on their use.

Relevant People
Professor Dr. Stefan Bieletzke, the CEO of Trainings-Online, has decades of experience in teaching, digital business models and programming. This accumulated experience will be used primarily in learning content throughout the project.

Philipp Kronsbein, project manager at Trainings-Online, has gathered experience in various industries, companies of different sizes and in a wide range of positions. In addition to conveying his experience, his main focus is on the preparation of the project content.

Stratigon Finance (Greece)

Stratigon is a unique Investment and Entrepreneurship Consulting firm which uses the timeless tool of strategy and the force of self-empowerment to help people and businesses overcome financial and social barriers. Stratigon offers a 360ᵒ support to    entrepreneurship through mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs, building solid business plans and models, securing financing, advising on operational and financial efficiency, sales & marketing, governance, internal audit & compliance, but also through its expertise on Early Warning and insolvency services. In its short course of life, the firm has become the Coordinator of an Erasmus+ Small Scale Partnership, Partner in two Strategic Partnership projects and also an awarded employer of young women through the WOMEN4IT project (EEA Grants).

Evangelia Daratsanou is an entrepreneurship expert and certified Early Warning Mentor.  She has worked as an EU expert on Early Warning solvency and market research in Denmark, Ireland and Finland.She is an entrepreneur herself as the Founder and Partner of Stratigon Finance, where she consults SMEs on the optimum exploitation of co-funded investments and modern business tools and products. She is a Co-founder of the Hellenic Investment Plan Evaluation Society and a member of the European Evaluation Society. Evangelia holds  MAs in Business Law and Marketing, as well as a degree in Business Administration.

Maria Gavatha is the co-founder of Stratigon and a financial expert, with over 10 years of experience in management consulting in the UK and in Greece, both in commercial companies and the financial services industry. Maria has studied finance and business at Oxford University, Cass Business School and the U.of Piraeus She is a Certified Internal Auditor and Fraud Examiner. She has also worked for EFG Private Bank (London), Mazars (London), Grant Thornton (Athens).

Centro Italiano per l'Apprendimento Permanente - CIAPE (Italy)

CIAPE is an Italian non-profit cultural association promoting lifelong learning in an innovative and inclusive way. CIAPE holds sound expertise in designing and carrying out training activities aimed at developing and validating soft skills, as well as the competences required in the future labour market. The organization works, on a daily basis, in synergy with more than 300 like-minded entities and organizations from all over Europe and beyond.

Veronica Guagliumi – Bachelor Degree in international cooperation and market development, Master degree in in European project management and local development, specialized in textile projects with experience in field EU direct and indirect funds, direct activities management of the entire life of the project. Responsible for vocational education and training area.
