ADA Call for Mentors


ADA is implemented by a consortium of 8 partners from 6 European countries and aims to encourage and support women's entrepreneurship, especially that which concerns the utilization of Digital Technology.

The main actions of the Project are:

✓ Training of at least 210 beneficiary women in the 6 countries participating in the project (social skills, business skills and digital skills);
✓ Creation of an online training – mentoring and interacting platform for women who will need support for the further development of their business ideas;
✓ Training of at least 32 mentors in the context of the multiplicative training model and creation of personalized counseling-mentoring relationships between women and their mentors;
✓ At least 8 start-ups will be prepared and ready to submit their business model, present their business plan for funding.


How will our mentors benefit?

As a mentor, the ADA project will offer you the opportunity to:
✓ Make a meaningful contribution to the empowerment of female aspiring entrepreneurs;
✓ Learn new skills and particularly develop your mentoring skills, via a mentors’ training program;
✓ Exchange best practices and learn with others working with businesses and professionals in Europe;
✓ Play an essential role in enhancing entrepreneurship, thereby helping to create jobs and support your national economy;
✓ Expand your own network of HEI’s, VETs and business support services providers in Europe;
✓ Receive a certificate of participation.
 

Application criteria include:

✓ Residence in an EU Member State or one of the countries participating in the COSME programme;
✓Experience as an expert in areas such as: social skills, general management, business strategy, corporate finance, corporate law, marketing, digital marketing, sales, exports, logistics, human resources, information technology, or as a business owner;
✓ A minimum of 3 years’ experience in providing mentoring services to SMEs and a proven record in providing consulting and/or mentoring services to start-ups;
✓ Fluency in English and familiarity with the use of online platforms and tools;
✓Strong motivation, willingness and availability to share knowledge and competences and develop the mentoring skills by actively participating in peer learning workshops and trainings (that each partner will organize, online).
