About us
The ADA project is named after the mathematician and programming pioneer Ada Lovelace. It is designed to overcome gender inequalities in the digital economy by providing customized support for female entrepreneurs in this field.

ADA (Fostering Women's Entrepreneurship & Employability in the Digital Business) is a project funded by the European Union through the program Erasmus+. ADA addresses gender inequalities in the digital economy. Even though we often think we made the step towards an equal society long ago, it is noticeable especially in digital and technological fields that women are still underrepresented.

The aim of the project is to build an interactive and innovative platform that helps women take their seat in the digital economy. Together, partners from a total of six European countries (Portugal, Greece, Bulgaria, Northern Macedonia, Italy and Germany) have set out to actively support women on their way to becoming successful digital entrepreneurs.

Fostering Women's Entrepreneurship & Employability in the Digital Business (funded by the European Union through the program Erasmus+) is a project that aims helping women take their seat in the digital economy.

The project involves the delivery of the following intellectual outputs (IOs):

IO 1. Advanced Training Package on Digital Entrepreneurship

Intellectual Output 1 (IO1) involves the production of an Advanced Training Package (ATP) on digital entrepreneurship and business. The ATP will consist of two Guides, a Trainer’s/Mentor’s Guide and a Trainee/Mentee Guide. The first guide will help mentors in their work with beneficiaries. The second guide will assist the trainees in the learning process. The ATP will also involve the development of a tailored curriculum for online training on the topic of Entrepreneurship & Employability in the field of digital technologies (DTs) for women. Following the development of the curriculum and the related materials, the project partners will pilot the training program with a group of selected beneficiaries. Two piloting sessions will be organized, involving at least 144 women beneficiaries from all the partner countries. The purpose of the piloting will be to assess and review the training material and optimize the training platform. The partners will produce 6 national reports, one on each participating country, on the experience of the two piloting sessions.

IO 2. Virtual Training and Mentoring Platform

Intellectual Output 2 (IO2) ADA Virtual Training and Mentoring Platform involves the development of a mentorship platform for women who will need support in the further development of their business ideas. The platform will include the training programs which the beneficiaries will be able to attend, as well mediate the communication between mentees and experienced business mentors.

IO 3. E-Mentorship Program for Empowering Women in Business

Intellectual Output 3 (IO3) is an e- Mentorship Program for Empowering Women in Business.
This e- Mentorship Program will include the creation of a database for mentors and experts; piloting of an e-mentorship program, and training of mentors (32 Mentors will be trained on a combination of the hybrid skills, following the cascade training methodology). In a first phase a total of 8 mentors will take part in an in-depth ToT on mentoring. In a second phase, they will pass the knowledge to a group of additional 16 mentors.

IO 4. Guidelines for Certification

Intellectual Output 4 (IO4) involves the development of Guidelines for Certification. The Guidelines will provide step-by-step instructions on how to certify the training programs. The aim of this output is to promote transparency of qualifications and competencies. This in turn promotes their transferability.
